MAPLE LANE RESIDENCE | Portland OR

This project involved a complete renovation of a SW Portland backyard which was overgrown with outdated large shrubs and trees. The goal was to open up the yard drastically by removing these trees and at the same time providing different use areas for the whole family to use. Our design involved creating three tiers of use areas, one for a children's nature playground, one which includes the main lawn and edible garden and one which includes a custom arbor, fire pit, hammock and decomposed granite patio. Curved corten steel risers with lawn steps lead to the children's nature play and dimensional bluestone pavers are provided between the main patio adjacent to the home and the fire pit patio.
