DELA was hired for a second time by the owners of this 5 acre property tucked into an existing white oak forest in West Linn Oregon. The very modern style of architecture of the three story home inspired DELA to integrate a modern landscape adjacent to the home on one side while naturalizing the rest of the property and adding trails to enjoy the amazing native oak forest.

The front of the home includes a new, large in-ground pool, retained by an acid etched retaining wall colored to match the existing home, large format concrete pavers, a platform deck with built-in bench, a boardwalk which leads to a firepit patio adjacent to the existing upper deck and lush vegetation surrounding the programmed areas.

The back yard includes walking trails, a fenced in vegetable garden, and large vegetation along the perimeter of the property to offer eventual screening from existing neighbors.
