The Cook Security Campus is located within the airport zone in Northeast Portland and is located strategically next to a light rail station. The design includes wide pathways through a lush landscape to get to and from the building, parking lot and light rail allowing pedestrians a pleasant wayfinding experience. Other oudoor amenities include a large patio adjacent to the front entryway, a large lawn for recreation, and ample seating for communal gathering. A large raingarden treats stormwater from the entire site. The planting palette is grasscentric which gives it an aesthetic of serenity.
