As part of a renovation for a historic building serving seniors with affordable housing, DELA worked to create an very unique landscape which interfaces with the existing Patton Home Community Garden. Upgrades to the community garden included a patio and shed for potting plants and passive recreation, stacked juniper raised planter boxes, ADA accessible pathways throughout the garden, and new perimeter fencing. DELA also designed a new central courtyard which includes an arbor with retractable awning and built in seatbenches, news tables and a large paver patio perfect for gatherings.
