This Greene and Green California Craftsman home is the only of it’s kind in Portland OR and DELA Studio is proud to have brought the landscape for this beautiful 1 acre property back to life in the most artistic sense. Careful attention to maintain the historic flavor of the historic home is realized in the preservation of the majestic stone columns which support a variation of the entryway arbors which bridge over the primary vehicular and pedestrian entrances to the property.

The owner of the property had a goal to provide life affirming amenities for the residents of the property which also promoted sustainability. Amenities included in the overall design include radial stone raised planters, two cedar water cisterns used to irrigate vegetables within the radial stone planters all year long, a nature inspired playground and a deck which includes a cedar cold and hot tub. Many ornate custom details were included to reflect the details of the home such as the perimeter fence around the property and the entryway arbors.

Within the garden, the design includes an orchard, berry bushes throughout the property, a rain garden and native vegetation.
